How to prepare fried pepper steak?
This dish is a mixture of fried bell
pepper, brown steak, and a delicious sauce. The recipe starts with cooking the
pepper slices until soft. The next step is to add sirloin to the pan. The final
touch is the two-minute sauce that is poured over meat and vegetables and then
cooked over low heat until it thickens.

I have used red and green chillies in the
Chinese Chilli steak because that's what I've been eating. However, any color
of paprika is perfectly fine. Some sweet peppers are sweeter than others.
Typically, red, yellow, and orange peppers are sweeter than green peppers. Some
pepper steak recipes call for tomatoes or onions, and feel free to add them to
the mix if desired.
* Ingredients:
° 2 tablespoons of olive oil
° Boneless sirloin steak, 3/4 inch (about 1
pound) thick, cut into thin slices
° 2 medium green / red bell peppers, cut
into 2-inch slices (about 3 cups)
° 1 medium onion, cut in half and sliced (about
1 cup)
° 2 cloves of minced garlic
° 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, mashed
° 2 packs of Swanson Flavor Boost -
Concentrated Beef Broth
° 1/4 cup water
* Directions :
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a 12-inch
skillet over medium-high heat.
Add meat and cook until well brown,
stirring often. Take the meat out of the pan. Get rid of any grease.
Heat remainder oil in skillet on mediium
heat .
Add pepper and onion and cook until
vegetables are soft, stirring occasionally.
Add garlic and oregano to the pan, cook and
stir for one minute.
Return the beef to the skillet.
Add the concentrated broth and water and
cook until the meat is tender.
