This cake is best filled with caramel chocolate and condensed milk. On top of that, you'll add some toffee shakes and candy.If you have never tried a waffle cake, this is a recipe for you to start. The cake is soaked with caramel and condensed milk, which makes it very tasty. Some of my other favorites are the Chocolate Turtle Poké Cake, the Jello Poke Cake, and the Tres Leches Cake.
* Ingredients :
° 10 1⁄4 oz German chocolate cake mix
° 1 14 cups of water
° 1⁄3 cup oil
° 3 eggs
° 1 can condensed sweetened milk (14 ounces)
° 1 jar (16 ounces) caramel (or toppings)
° 8 ounces Cole Whip
° 1 (8 ounce) bag of toffee chunks (or bits)
* Directions :
-Preheat oven to 350.
-Make and bake the cake as directed on the package in a 9" x 13" pan.
-Poke the top of a warm cake every 1/2 inch with the handle of a wooden spoon.
-Sprinkle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake and leave it until the milk is absorbed into the cake.
-Sprinkle caramel or butterscotch on top.
-Run the knife around the sides of the pan to loosen the cake.
-Cover the cake and put it in the fridge for 2 hours or until it cools.
-Spread the cold mixture on top of the cake.
-Sprinkle with toffee chips.
-Keep cake covered in refrigerator.
