1. Boost Your Geraniums with a DIY Fertilizer:

Ingredients:

3 drops of castor oil

1/2 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide

1l of water

Procedure:

Mix the ingredients together, creating a nourishing solution. Apply this mixture directly to the soil. Your geraniums will thrive and look more lush with this natural fertilizer.

2. Free Propagation of Geraniums:

Materials:

Activated charcoal (crumbled)

Geranium cutting

Recycled glass jar

Recycled paper cup

Twine

Potting soil

Perlite

Steps:

Begin by taking a cutting from a geranium plant. Use a clean pair of scissors and strip away the leaves from the stem, keeping only the topmost ones intact.

Dip the cut end of your geranium stem into the crumbled activated charcoal. This serves as a natural rooting hormone.

Half fill a recycled jam jar with water.

Take the paper cup and create a small hole at the bottom. Thread a piece of twine through the hole, ensuring the longer end dangles outside the cup.

Fill the cup with a blend of potting soil and perlite.

Place the cup inside the jar in a way that the twine touches the water. This ensures continuous hydration for the cutting.

In a matter of weeks, you'll notice your cutting sprouting roots. Within approximately 20 days, it'll be ready to be transplanted to its own pot.
