Potato soup is full of flavor, thick and so delicious it looks more like chowder than a great soup!!!
* Ingredients :
° 2 - 14.5 oz. Chicken broth cans
° 2-3 large carrots, peeled and cut into cubes
° 4 medium grains, peeled and cut into small cubes
° 1 tsp. onion powder
° 2 small heads of broccoli (washed and cut into small cubes)
° 3 tablespoons. butter
° ⅓ c flour
° 3½ - 4 c milk
° 4 c shredded cheddar cheese
° 1 tsp.salt
° ½ tsp garlic pepper
° 6 slices bacon, cooked and minced
* Directions :
In a large bowl, combine chicken broth, carrots, potatoes, and onion powder.Bring mixture to a oil, cover and simmer for 11 minutes.
Adding broccoli, covering // simmer for an additional 11 minutes.
While it is boil, melt the butter in saucepan.
Whisking flour and cook for other minute (or until golden brown).
Whisking milk // simmer for other 5 minutes, until sauce thickens.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Add salt, pepper and garlic.
Pour sauce cheese to the saucepan & toss to well combined.
Adding milk for a thinner consistency if you like a thinner soup & adding any extra salt & pepper needed.
Top with bacon pieces & serving warm!!!
