If you can't find a ready-made chocolate angel food cake, an ordinary angel food cake will still be a delicious trifle.
* Ingredients :
° 2 pack (8 oz) cheese cream
° 1 (12 ounce) cold whip container
° 1 1/2 c confectionerssugar
° 1 round angel food cake (if you can't find one, you can use two loaf type)
° 3 pints of strawberry
° One jar prepared strawberry glaze (usually found in the produce section of the grocery) or one jar of strawberry sauce (usually found in the produce section of the grocer)
* Directions :
Cut the strawberries into slices and quarters, reserving some for garnish.
Add sugar as desired.
Cover it and put it in the fridge overnight.
Sugar and cream cheese.
Add the cold mixture and beat until light and fluffy.
Strain out about 3/4 of the liquid from soaking the berries; Pour the glaze and stir.
Cut the cake into 2 inch pieces.
Fill a small plate or 9-inch-deep glass bowl with layers of cake, strawberries, and then cream cheese mixture.
Garnished with preserved strawberries.
Refrigerate at least six hours before serving.
