This delicious, attractive, and super easy (and most importantly) recipe can easily be made low-fat using both fat-free and fat-free milk. This recipe should be enjoyed on the same day for best results. Enjoy!
* Ingredients :
° 1 package (3.5 ounces)pudding vanilla & pie filling
° 1 cup cold milk 2up non-dairy whipped cream, melted
° (17.25 oz) package frozen and thawed puff pastry
° Pint freshly strawberries
° Half a cup of confectioners' sugar
Step 1
Heat the oven to 200°C. Combine pudding mixture and cold milk; fold in the skin. Put it in the fridge until it's ready to use.
Step 2
Roll out the dough on a cool surface sprinkled with flour. Cut it into 3 strips along the fold marks, then cut each strip into four equal pieces. Placing 2 inches aside on baking sheet.Step 3 Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven or until golden brown. Removing from baking sheet & cool.
Step 4
Divide pastry into 2 layers, best 8 tops set aside. Spread 8 bottom layers with pieces of the pudding mixture. Top each one with a layer of strawberries, a small amount of pudding, and another layer of pastry. (A small amount of the pudding mix on top of the berries will help keep the layers together.) Sprinkle with the remaining pudding mixture and strawberries, then layer the remaining pastry layers on top (the best-looking ones). Sprinkle confectioners' sugar.
