*ingredients:

°1 package (8 ounces) soft cream cheese
°1 cup butter
°1/2 cup icing sugar
°2 cups all-purpose flour
°1 (12.5 oz) can stuffed apricots (like Solo(R))
°1/4 cup icing sugar for dusting

*Directions :

Place cheese and butter in  bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. Whisk 1/2 cup icing sugar into butter mixture. Slowly stir in the flour. Mix well. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, or overnight.
Preheat oven 375°F (190°C).
On a well floured board, roll out the cooled dough to 1/8 inch thickness. Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into 2 1/2 inch squares. Spoon about 2 teaspoons filling in center of each square; Do not overfill. Fold opposite corners of each square into the center to envelop the dough, pressing the dough together in the center. The filling should stick out slightly at each end. Transfer the cookies to an ungreased baking sheet.
Baking kulaki in preheated oven to tender but not brown, about 12 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool. Sprinkle the cooled kolacky with the rest of the icing sugar.
