1. Rid Hard Water Stains
To remove hard water stains from your sink, tub, and even chrome faucets and fixtures, either distilled vinegar or lemon juice is all you need. Both of these natural products break down hard water stains and will leave everything smelling clean and fresh.
2. Disinfect The Toilet Brush
Just because toilet brushes have a tough job doesn’t mean that they need to stay filthy! When you’ve finished using your toilet brush, pour a little bit of PineSol into the toilet brush holder to keep it smelling clean and disinfected.
3. Deep Clean Your Toilet
If you have a porcelain toilet lined with unsightly hard water stains, dumping Coca-Cola into the bowl will eliminate them. This method really works, but it might make you question drinking Coke in the future!
4. Eliminate Mildew
To remove mildew from your shower or tub, make a solution of liquid dish soap and distilled vinegar. Scrub down the areas in question with the solution before rinsing with water.
5. Clean Toothbrush Holders
Toothbrush holders can become riddled with dust, mold, and other bacteria over time. Get in the habit of tossing your toothbrush holder in the dishwasher every week or so to ensure it stays clean and germ-free.
6. Unclog A Shower Head
If your shower head isn’t distributing water like it should be, fill a plastic bag with distilled vinegar and attach it to the shower head. Let it sit overnight, then remove the bag in the morning.
