2-teaspoons of chia or flax seeds
a single cup water
A spoonful of coconut oil
1/4 cup of castor oil
For aroma, you can optionally add a few drops of essential oils like rosemary or lavender.
Instructions:
To make the seed gel, boil a small pot of water with the seeds in it. For around ten to fifteen minutes, over low heat, simmer until the liquid thickens and takes on a gel consistency. To keep from sticking, stir every so while.
When the gel is ready, drain it to get rid of the seeds, and then mix it. Combine the coconut oil and castor oil while the gel is still somewhat warm, but not hot. Your hair will be more hydrated and shiny after using these oils. To make it smell nice, you may add some essential oil.
Using a liberal amount, work the gel mixture into your hair from the roots to the tips after washing your hair. Rinse it off completely with warm water after 30 minutes of leaving it on with a shower cap.
